The G4 Split - Fern and Phil chat with the boys.

On April 5 the shock news broke that G4 will disband later this year.
G4 bring back memories of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody video.
An official statement on the G4 website stressed that this was their own decision and nothing to do with either their record label or management. The statement clarifies that "despite what the papers say, we are all still friends and will be continuing together in the band until the end of the summer."
After 4 sell-out tours, 3 platinum albums (more than 1.5 million sold in total) and even a best selling autobiography many are puzzled as to why G4 are saying goodbye to a hugely successful career.

Today, chatting on the This Morning sofa to Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton, the guys explain their group decision and tell of their future plans. (Transcript of G4 on This Morning 16.04.2007)
The first thing in Ben Thapa's more immediate future is to run of the London Marathon in aid of The Mental Health Foundation. You can sponser Ben at JustGiving.com.

Good luck to Ben and to Jonathan Ansell, Matt Stiff and Mike Christie for their future endeavours! The guys may be disbanding but they've still got ‘The Act Three Tour’ from 21st of May through to 12th June 2007 (See ticket link below).
