Kate Thornton: Sharon wants to get violent with you because she loves what you did so much tonight. What would you like to say back to those comments, Ben?
Ben: I'd like to say, I think it has taken me this long to 'realise' you know, this is the fi... this (is) the semifinal of this huge competition, my dream... and it has... I kind of just... as I was on there just now, I was thinking "this is it, you know, you're in the semifinal".
Kate Thornton: Next Saturday is the big one. What would it mean to you to be on this stage singing for that recording contract?
(Loud chants of Ben! Ben!... are heard from Ben's supporters in the audience.)Ben: It's my dream come true. My dream come true, but... I just, you know... let me thank the people that have kept me here for as long as they have.
