Leona Lewis on Leona: At the end of the day I'm just an East End girl and I've been blessed enough to be on this incredible journey.
Leona lets loose her magic on The X Factor stage and she throws in a bit of dancing to boot!Leona's mega-Manilow number "Could It Be Magic" gives her a chance to mix it up a little and demonstrate her versatility.

She starts soft and slow, then dives into disco dancing diva mode, finally dropping the pace to penetrate the studio air with a handful of trademark high notes. It's feel good, she looks good and by golly she is good! Someone... quick! Pour me a glass of Guinness!

Could it be magic? We think it could.

Panel-Bites:

Introductions...

Kate Thornton:  It's time to hear from the 16 to 24s, so Simon, over to you...

Simon Cowell:  Well, there's only one girl left in the competition and it's Leona.

Intro clip...

Leona: Last week it was definitely really fun doing an uptempo song.

Leona: (Flashback to last week) ¯ Voulez-vous chantez avec moi... ¯

Sharon Osbourne:  (Flashback) Bravo, Leona. Another... 'nother faultless performance. Amazing young girl, you are...

Simon Cowell:  Week on week, no matter how good the comments are, she's still not aware how good a singer she really is. And I find that astonishing. Totally astonishing.

Sharon Osbourne:  Leona has a truly spectacular voice. But does she have the X Factor? We'll just have to see.

Leona: We're approaching the semifinals now, and I never thought that I'd be here and every single day I'm just like "thank you so much!"

Simon Cowell:  This is normally the time when they start to change, the contestants. You start to see the slightly different side to them. I haven't seen that with Leona.

Leona: At the end of the day I'm just an East End girl and I've been blessed enough to be on this incredible journey.

Barry Manilow: (To Leona at rehearsals) Beautiful, talented Leona. How are you?

Leona: I'm fine. (She greets Barry with a kiss)

Leona: (To camera) It was an honour to meet Barry Manilow. He is a true inspiration.

Leona: (In rehearsals) ...¯ ...of all of you... ¯ Baby, I want you... ¯ Now! ... ¯...

Barry Manilow: (To camera) I thought Leona was just wonderful and I was very thrilled to hear her sing "Could It Be Magic" so beautifully.

Barry Manilow: (To Leona in rehearsals) I have nothing to say, except thank you for making my song sound so beautiful.

Leona: Oh thank you! (They hug)

Leona: (To camera) I asked him, you know, how I could connect more with the audience, and he gave me some really amazing advice.

Barry Manilow: (To Leona in rehearsals) For me it's all about feeling, it's all about making the audience feel something. Make them love you and then break their hearts. (They both laugh)

Leona: Thank you.

Barry: Okay.

Back live...

Kate Thornton:  Ladies and gentlemen, Leona.

(Cheering and Applause)

Leona sings...

¯ Spirit move me ¯ Every time I'm near you ¯ Whirling like a cyclone in my mind ¯ You're my lifeline ¯ Angel of my lifetime ¯ Answer to all answers I can find ¯ Baby I love you ¯ Come ¯ Come ¯ Come into my arms ¯ Let me know the wonder ¯ Of all of you ¯ Baby take me ¯ High upon a hillside ¯ High up where the stallion meets the sun ¯ I could love you ¯ Oo-ooh ¯ Build my world around you ¯ And never leave you ¯ Till my life is done ¯ Baby I love you ¯ Come ¯ Come ¯ Come into my arms ¯ Let me know the wonder ¯ 0f all of you ¯ All of you ¯ Baby I love you ¯ Now ¯ Now ¯ Oh, now and hold on fast ¯ Could this be the magic at last ¯ Could it be magic ¯ Come ¯ Come ¯ Come into my arms ¯ Let me feel the wonder ¯ 0f all of you ¯ Baby I love you ¯ Now ¯ Now ¯ Oh, now and hold on fast ¯ Could this be the magic at last ¯ Could it be magic, now ¯

(Cheering and Applause)

Louis Walsh:  (Shouting over the continued applause) Leona... great song. Leona, I'm trying... I'm trying to find something negative to say about ya. I cannot find anything negative. It was a great, great performance and you're getting better week by week by week. You can do no wrong, girl.

Leona: Thank you.

(Applause)

Sharon Osbourne:  Fun, just fun to see you dancing with the girls. You look so cute tonight, too.

Leona: Thank you.

Sharon Osbourne:  You look adorable and you always... I mean, come on, you always sing superbly.

Leona: Oh, thank you.

Sharon Osbourne:  It's good to see you have fun...

Leona: Yeah, I did, thank you.

Sharon Osbourne:  ...really.

Simon Cowell:  Leona, that was simply sensational. (Cheering and Applause) Loved it... Loved it...

Leona: (Smiling) Thank you Simon.

Simon Cowell:  ...Loved it.

Kate Thornton:  Great comments from the judges yet again.

Leona: (Smiling) Yeah, lovely... (To the judges) ...Thank you.

Kate Thornton:  You've still got a second song to come out and perform for us tonight...

Leona: Yeah.

Kate Thornton:  ...But let's get out those voting details. Barry Manilow said thanks for making it sound so beautiful. Did you agree? To vote for Lao... forlow... for Leona! I can't speak, I'm stunned... (Kate gives out the voting details)... For now, ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it for Leona.
