The Conway Sisters sing out "Nothing's Going To Stop Us Now", hoping the lyrics will ring true at the end of the night!
The Conway Sisters are hanging on in this contest after 2 recent visits to the bottom 2. Last week they were "gobsmacked" when Sharon Osbourne saved them and sent Nicholas Dorsett home.
Their father is shown on the pre-performance VT clip saying how the show has toughened the girls up. Simon Cowell seems to agree, he remarks that the girls have more steel than he thought.
Sinéad Conway and her sisters turn in a good vocal performance on The X Factor final 6 show.

The girls may have shown steel, but tonight they really need to steal the show!

They get off to a dodgy start as Marie's opening bars are a bit flat, but things improve very quickly.

This is a great upbeat song for the girls and they mix it up nicely with some lovely harmonies and alternating lead vocals.

The girls are styled beautifully tonight and they deliver an energetic performance with oodles of oomph factor.
Sharon Conway's face tells the story as she listens to Sharon Osbourne label the vocal group as 'safe' and 'predictable'.

As usual, Louis' comments are supportive, although this week they are a wee bit woolly.

However, it appears that Sharon Osbourne, who requested more oomph from the sisters a few weeks ago, is unhappy again. Tonight she labels The Conway Sisters "safe" and "predictable". One by one the Conway faces drop.

They seem less shocked when Simon tells them he doesn't think their performance was good enough to keep them in the contest. Although Simon does agree with an audience member who shouts out that they were "better than Chico"!

Indeed, that the girls have toughened up is evident from their message back to the snarky judges. Laura jokes that they may yet win the award for the best act in the bottom two!

Despite rum comments from Sharon and Simon Laura Conway manages to joke with Kate Thornton, "We might still win the award for the best act in the bottom 2"!

Panel-Bites:

Simon Cowell:  (Introduction) Ladies and gentlemen, it's The Conway Sisters.

Intro clip...

Sinéad:  Last week, we were anticipating maybe a bad reaction from the crowd.

Simon Cowell:  I wasn't even sure whether they were going to turn up or not, to be honest with you. I thought they'd be on a plane home to Dublin.

Marie:  We spoke to our dad. He's been a rock. He really has, because he has such a strong belief in what we do.

Kieran:  (The Conway's dad) They've certainly been toughened up on this show... (Laughs) ...They're good fighters, they've a lot of spirit in them and the more adversity there is the stronger they become.

Simon Cowell:  There's more steel in these girls than I thought and I admire them for that.

Marie:  We were in the bottom 2...

Laura:  ...and Sharon made her decision to keep us in. Honest to God, I was gobsmacked.

Sharon:  We know tonight is gonna be another battle but we're ready for the fight.

Simon Cowell:  If they don't get it together on the night... 'No', they can't rely on my support... but if they do they will.

The Conway Sisters sing...

Kate Thornton:  Louis, your comments please?

Louis Walsh:  Girls, I mean, I know what it's like to be under pressure and you're under pressure this week, you know and... but I love the way you all stick together and smile through it and I hope the lyrics are true, that nothing's gonna stop you now. Well done.

Sinéad:  (Smiling) Thank you.

Kate Thornton:  Thanks Louis. Sharon?

Sharon Osbourne:  Yeah, girls I think anyone that's been in this contest... you've had, you know, your fair share of knockbacks but I have to be brutally honest with you and I feel that you are always safe, you're always on one level. I haven't seen you... I've said this to Nicholas, in fact, last week... I didn't see you take it any further. You're very safe with everything that you do, and predictable, but your song tonight it was good, but you're very predictable.

Kate Thornton:  Thanks Sharon. Simon, you're mentoring the Conways. What would you like to say?

Simon Cowell:  Ah, it was a great choice of song! Er... but we've got to know each other now girls, right? (The Conways smile back in agreement) Ahm... truthfully... I don't think it was good enough to stay in this week. (Audience boos) ...I don't, I don't. Look there's six people left, you know. And ehm, I'm not... I've said this to you before, I'm not going to patronise you. I have to hear this as if it was Louis' group or Sharon's group. And it was...

Audience Member:  (Shouts) It was better than Chico!

Sharon Osbourne:  (To the shouter) Hey you!

Simon Cowell:  I agree it was better than Chico, yeah. (Some boos) Ahm, but I think... I think you're going to be outsung tonight girls.

Kate Thornton:  Thanks, Simon.

Simon Cowell:  I do.

Kate Thornton:  Thank you. (Turns to the Conways) Girls? Biggest critic of the night... your own mentor. What would you like to say back to the judges?

Laura:  Well, as you said yourself, we've more steel than you think, so... (Cheers) ...Well we might win... We might still win the award for the best act in the bottom 2 yet... (Simon grins) ...the best act in the bottom 2 on British TV ever. Ah no, but seriously, we really, really want this so much. We have worked our whole lives for this and we would love to win this competition if we could, so please give us your vote tonight please!

Kate Thornton:  You heard the girls. They've got steel, but did they steal your vote tonight (Kate gives out the voting numbers etc) ...Ladies and gentlemen, these girls have got grit! It's The Conway Sisters. (The 4 sisters all smile broadly as they leave the stage)
