Simon Cowell: (Introduction) Okay, two guys, Andy and and Carl. It's Journey South.
Intro clip... Andy: I felt ahm, on Saturday night that it was possibly our weakest performance. We did feel like we were taking a lot of risks. We felt vulnerable as everybody else has.
Simon Cowell: They should feel vulnerable this week because every contestant in this show is vulnerable now. You choose the wrong song, you're out. So we've come up with a song choice this week which I think is going to be brilliant for them.
Andy: It's a song tonight everybody loves so, you know, if we don't pull it off tonight, we are in trouble.
Simon Cowell: I think the public have shown that if we make the wrong decision they are going to turn on us. Too many people thought they were safe. Not any more.
Andy: After what happened last week with the judges, you know, the pressure is on them big time, just as much as it is us and we really feel now that the only people we can really rely on is ourselves.
Journey South sing...
Kate Thornton: Okay Louis, your comments please?
Louis Walsh: Well, Kate, I really like Journey South. I think they've got great talent, I think they've got great voices but this song... (Shaking his head) it was a lazy, lazy choice, Simon. I don't know why... (Audience groans, Sharon throws her head in her hands) ...I don't know why... I mean I wouldn't give this song... anybody is singing this song in any any pub tonight all over the UK! I wouldn't have done it. You are better than the song boys, much better.
Kate Thornton: Okay... Thanks Louis... ah, Sharon?
Sharon Osbourne: I can't stop laughing.
Louis Walsh: What are you on drugs?
Sharon Osbourne: (Jokey) Louis... you...
Louis Walsh: Are you taking Ozzy's drugs?
Sharon Osbourne: I need drugs! (Suddenly change in tone) ...Don't you bring my husband in... (Sharon stands up with glass of water in her hand) Louis! (Cheers and applause, Sharon sounds jokey again. Louis drinks from his glass) ...Don't you bring my husband in!
Simon stands up behind Sharon and jolts her forward. Sharon's glass empties all over Louis.
Simon sits down. Sharon picks his glass off the table and throws the water onto Louis and his laptop.
A moment later she grabs Louis' glass and empties that out onto him as well! Louis is drenched and the audience are whipped up.
Andy and Carl laugh with astonishment.
Sharon and Simon celebrate with a hug. Louis still manages to smile.
Kate Thornton: Okay, ahm. Sharon... Sharon... can we have some sort of comment on the performance?
Sharon Osbourne: (Stands, elated) I loved you. I thought the song was amazing. You guys are gettng better and better. More confident every day. (Blows a kiss) I love you.
Kate Thornton: Thank you, Simon, your mentoring Journey South, ahm, what would you like to add?
Simon Cowell: Haah, I think Louis has shown... (Turns to Louis. Sharon is now kneeling at the end of the judges table next to Simon) ...You couldn't even judge a hamster show. What are you talking about? That was fantastic! (Cheers)
Kate Thornton: Okay boys, ahm, if you can pull yourselves together? Ah, Louis... Louis said lazy, Sharon and Simon said fantastic. What would you like to say?
Carl: Well, yeah, I mean... (Off mike noises from the judges' table) ...everyone you know...
Andy: (Prompting Carl to ignore the ruckus) Go on?
Carl: ...is entitled to your opinion you know...
Audience: Sharon! Sharon! Sharon! ...
Simon joins in, clapping in time with the crowd.
Sharon still kneels beside him with her head face down at the far end of the table.
Carl: ...everyone's entitled to their opinion.
Audience noise becomes louder. Journey South decide if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
They start clapping.
Kate Thornton: Okay. (Laughs) If you want to vote for Journey South tonight... (Kate gives out the voting numbers etc) Great great comments boys, well done. Let's hear it for Journey South!
