Sharon Osbourne: (Introduction) Well now I have to introduce (emphatic) the second of my four... (Laughter) ...contestants. And I'd like to introduce Andy.
Intro clip... Andy: After last Saturday's performance where the comments were great, I had a chat with Sharon and ehm, she feels that I need to raise my bar even more.
Sharon Osbourne: As far as just relaxing and thinking 'Oh well, you know, you can take it easy'. Right now in the contest is the time that you cannot.
Andy: Me and Sharon have picked a song and it's erm, originally been done by 4 amazing singers.
Sharon Osbourne: It was written for 4 part harmonies and now you're going to see Andy attempt to do it (Laughs) just by himself.
Andy: It could do more harm than good for me, but I can only see on Saturday. That's why I'm worried.
Sharon Osbourne: I think it's time that he stepped up and did something out of his comfort zone.
Andy: For me to get... keep on getting those positive comments ehm, I've got to perform like I have been doing, so yeah, I'm going to give it my best shot.
Andy sings...
Kate Thornton: Louis? Your comments please?
Louis Walsh: Andy, you are a terrific, terrific singer. It's a very, very hard song to sing, 'cause 4 guys normally sing it. You did a really good job, though I do personally prefer yer singing the Nat King Cole type songs. But well done!
Andy: Thank you. (Cheers)
Kate Thornton: Okay, thanks Louis. Simon!
Simon Cowell: I know what Louis means and I've got to be honest with you Andy, when I heard that you were doing this Boyz II Men song, I thought er, 'Madame has gone nuts!'... (Some laughter) ...Ahm, however, ahm, you know part of... of being a successful artist is appealing to your target audience and giving them what they want, and that is exactly what I think you did tonight. I think it was a very... (Big cheers) ...it was ah... it was sung... it was sung with a... (Waits for audience noise to die down.)
Kate Thornton: Do carry on Simon.
Simon Cowell: Well I won't bother.
Kate Thornton: No? You liked it though?
Simon Cowell: I thought it was great. (Cheers)
Kate Thornton: Okay, fantastic. Thank you Simon. Sharon... you're Andy's mentor. What would you like to say to him?
Sharon Osbourne: Just that you know, you've gone through the eras of songs that we've given you and to hear you do something that's really current, it... you can do it all! (Flinging her arms outwards) I just let Andy's voice talk for him. (Andy laughs, more audience cheers)
Kate Thornton: Thank you judges. (Turns to Andy) Andy!
Andy: Yeah.
Kate Thornton: Cracking set of comments!
Andy: Yeah.
Kate Thornton: What would you like to say back to the panel?
Andy: I'd just like to say ehm, you know, whatever songs we kind of choose between us, me and Sharon... ehm, you know and Mark... it's uhm... I think it kind of compliments them that they feel that I'm good enough to do the job, you know? And to impress all you guys... (Audience cheers) ...and the viewers at home, so…
Kate Thornton: Well, did Andy impress you enough to grab your vote tonight? ... (Kate gives out the voting numbers etc.) ...They really like you in here Andy, that's for sure. Ladies and gents, let's hear it for Andy! (She hugs Andy, who kisses her on the cheek and exits waving.)
