Intro clip... Brenda: No matter how much I really wanted this before, being up on the stage last week I got a little taste of it, and I have to say (Breaks into a laugh) I quite liked it!
Sharon Osbourne: I think Brenda is an amazing singer and Louis and Simon's comments about her being a backing singer... totally unjustified.
Brenda: I want to come and give Louis something that he can turn around and say to me "Brenda, you could be a star".
Sharon Osbourne: Brenda has so much courage and conviction. I mean this is one dream she is not going to give up on.
Brenda: As long as I can run with the dream, I'm going to run with it, and I don't want anybody to take that away from me.

Kate Thornton: Simon, your comments please?
Simon Cowell: That was er... I think you know Brenda if anyone... (Simon pauses whilst the audience continue cheering and whooping!) ...I'd better be nice! Can I talk! ?? (Brenda laughs) Erm, I think the audience like you. I... Brenda you sum up the reason why we were right to allow older contestants... (Brenda gives Simon the beady eye. Audience laughs) ...to enter a competition... (Brenda laughs) ... like The X Factor. Because there's something really charming about seeing you being given a second chance, and saying to the audience at home, "I deserve to be here", and you're very infectious. Just... (More cheers. Brenda smiles broadly.) ...and great performer! (Pauses an instant) I don't think you'll win! (Brenda keeps smiling)
Sharon Osbourne: Hey!
Louis Walsh: Hey!
Sharon Osbourne: Hey! It's not up to you.
Simon Cowell: (Rubbing his fingers together) I'm normally right.
Louis Walsh: No!
Sharon Osbourne: No you're not! (Pushes her flat palm out) Oh, excuse me, don't let's go back to last year!
Simon Cowell: (To Brenda) But very, very good indeed!
Brenda: Thank you Simon.
Simon Cowell: Very good.
Kate Thornton: Thank you Simon. Louis?
Louis Walsh: Brenda, that was one of the best performances tonight. (Cheers) You remind me... you remind me of Gladys Knight. But you owned the stage tonight and I think you're absolutely fab. (More cheers)
Brenda: Thank you Louis.
Kate Thornton: Than you Louis. Sharon?
Sharon Osbourne: Oh Brenda, I'm so happy for you. You just make me smile all the time, I'm so happy. And I thought I was going to get into a fight with these two tonight. (Sharon does a boxing shimmy) I was ready. I'm ready for 'em. (Brenda laughs) But they were right.
Louis Walsh: She looks so much better tonight. I thought it was a great, great song to pick. Absolutely mega.
Brenda: Thank you.
Sharon Osbourne: (Shaking her hands in the air) Yes!!
Kate Thornton: Yes, thank you very much.
Sharon Osbourne: (Still moving her arms up and down) Yes Brenda!
Kate Thornton: Brenda!
Brenda: (Laughs loudly)
Kate Thornton: (Cackles back at Brenda)
Brenda: (Grinning) Oh, that's got to be good hasn't it?
Kate Thornton: Well... listen?
Brenda: Louis, thank you very much.
Louis Walsh: (Open palms) You deserve it.
Brenda: Simon, you know, you might not think that I'm able to win the competition, but it's the public voting so... (Big cheers. Simon smiles.) Let's hope that they vote for me again tonight, so that I can come back again next week. (Laughs)
Simon Cowell: (Nodding) I think you will. I think you will.
Kate Thornton: Now Brenda, they were gobsmacking comments. And I know, like a lot of the families you've given up a lot. You... you've never been away from your kids for this long before have you?
Brenda: Mmm, no.
Kate Thornton: Are you missing them?
Brenda: I'm missing my babies a lot. (Brenda's daughter waves from the audience) I love them a lot... (Shouting to her children) but mummy doesn't want to come home yet! (Brenda's daughter is shown smiling.)
Kate Thornton: So, not ready to go back to them just yet?
Brenda: Not just yet. A little bit more tiiiime... you know? (Laughs)
Kate Thornton: Okay, so if you want to keep Brenda away from her kids you know what to do. Vote for her! (Gives out phone numbers etc.) ...My goodness, they love you in here tonight! Let's hear it for Brenda! (Brenda exits the stage)
