Simon Cowell: (Introduction) I'd like to introduce 4 young ladies, (Laughing as he reads their names) Sharon, Marie, Sinéad and Laura. The Conway Sisters.
Intro clip... Sinéad: Standing on stage in front of maybe 10 million people, it was very overwhelming.
Marie: Sharon commented on the fact that we needed a bit more passion in our performance. We found that quite difficult because with the song we were given, it's not normally what we would sing.
Simon Cowell: Song selection is absolutely everything with a group like The Conways. Get it wrong and they're out, and they were nearly out last week. And if they had have gone out last week it would have been my responsibility, and I can't let that happen again. I really hope this week I've got it right.
Marie: It is one of those songs that just makes each and every one of us cry, every time we hear it, because it's so beautiful... You can't take anything for granted in this competition. You have to put your best foot forward every single week.
The Conway Sisters sing...
Kate Thornton: Louis?
Louis Walsh: Girls, you were so much better tonight than last week.
Marie: Thanks Louis!
Sharon Osbourne: (Gives Louis the thumbs-up) Thank youuuuu!
Louis Walsh: You really, really were. You know, and this song really, really suits yee, and your voices are brilliant. Especially Marie... Marie is the one in the red dress by the way Simon. (Titters from the Conways!) She's the lead singer. Ehm, but great, great performance. If you keep doing songs like this I think you'll go far in the competition.
Marie: Thank you.
Kate Thornton: Okay, thank you Louis. Sharon?
Sharon Osbourne: Yeah, now we really get a sense of what The Conway Sisters are all about. After hearing you sing this song, perfect choice, you sang it beautifully.
The Conways: Thank you Sharon. (Cheers) Kate Thornton: Thank you very much. Simon?
Simon Cowell: Yes, Sharon, Marie Sinéad and Laura. (Laughter) It was...
Louis Walsh: Which is which Simon?
Simon Cowell: (Pointing) Sharon, Marie Sinéad, Laura! (The girls laugh)
Louis Walsh: (Laughing) Somebody told him.
Simon Cowell: I knew that. Uhm, terrific. I mean I felt last week, you know particularly watching the show back, that I did let you down. I was struggling to know where you should be going. This song was absolutely on the money for you. It's a beautiful song, you sang it great. I think you were very sensibile, Marie, you took the lead, the other 3 girls harmonised. It was fantastic, and I think you're going to stay in this week. (Cheers) Very good.
The Conways: Thank you. Kate Thornton: Thank you very much judges. (Greets The Conways) Girls! What a comeback from last week. What would you like to say to the judges?
Sharon Osbourne: (Sharon Conway!) We're really feeling good tonight and we felt like we're really finding our feet in this competition. Especially with this song, we could really put a bit of oomph into it for Sharon (Winks at Sharon, who laughs)
Laura: And don't send me back to school please? (More laughter from the Conways and Sharon)
Louis Walsh: (Shouts over) Kate!
Kate Thornton: (To The Conways) What would it mean to you to be back here next Saturday, to pick up those all important votes girls?
Sharon Osbourne: We'd really, really appreciate the chance to come back and do this all again, because we're having such a great time, and I really don't think there's anything else we'd rather be doing. So please, please, if you like what you're hearing please vote for Conways? (Cheers)
Kate Thornton: So you heard the girls. Are you going to give them your vote tonight? If you are.. (Gives out the phone numbers etc.) ...Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it one last time for The Conway Sisters! (The Conways exit)
