Brenda - she's got the eXtrovert factor.
Brenda Edwards' husband Patrick has surprised her by whisking her to Belfast for the weekend. The biggest surprise came when they realised that The X Factor auditions are being held at their hotel!
Londoner Brenda, who definitely has the eXtrovert factor, jumps at the opportunity to audition. Patrick warns that the judges don't know what's going to hit them!
Brenda is a big personality with a big voice. Although her voice doesn't overly impress Louis, both Sharon and Simon decide that the girl "with gusto" must go through to Boot Camp.
And Patrick was right, because the judges don't know what's about to hit them when Brenda celebrates by diving onto their table! She plants them each a kiss before running like crazy down the hotel corridors and into his arms.
Having cleaned up at the auditions Brenda looks like she's going to enjoy every minute of her 'dirty' weekend!

Panel-Bites:

Brenda:  He took me away for a dirty weekend and it's ended up that I'm gonna be singin'! (Raucous tone) It can't get better than that, can it!!! (Laughs heartily).

Brenda takes some deep breaths before entering the audition room.

Patrick: (Brenda's husband) I'm confident for her. The judges don't know what's gonna hit 'em when she walks in the room.

Sharon Osbourne:  (As Brenda enters) Hi Brenda!

Brenda:  (Bouncy) Hello.

Sharon Osbourne:  (Laughing) How are you?

Brenda:  I'm all right. (Slaps her legs) Hmm, very nervous, but I'm all right. God I'm on X Factor!

Sharon Osbourne:  (Laughs)

Simon Cowell:  Do you live here?

Brenda:  No!... We've come away for a dirty weekend and it's been quite successful!

Simon Cowell:  To Belfast?

Brenda:  Yeah... uhm... It's just the whole hotel thing...

Simon Cowell:  What a romantic!

Brenda:  Hey, you know, don't knock it! It's what you do with it!

Sharon Osbourne:  Now what are you gonna sing?

Brenda:  Erm, I'm gonna sing 'River Deep... Mountain High'

Sharon Osbourne:  Fabulous!

Brenda sings...

Simon Cowell:  Thank you, thank you very much... You do everything with gusto don't you?

Brenda:  Uhm... yeah... (Grins) ...unfortunately!

Simon Cowell:  Full on... (Brenda and Sharon laugh) ...Nothing wrong with that!

Louis Walsh:  Brenda you're great fun and you're quite an okay singer. I don't think you're a star.

Sharon Osbourne:  Well I thought you sang very well.

Brenda:  Thank you Sharon.

Sharon Osbourne:  Very confident. Sang in tune.

Simon Cowell:  Sharon, yes or no?

Sharon Osbourne:  Yes...

Brenda:  (Mouthing) Oh, thank you.

Simon Cowell:  Louis?

Sharon Osbourne:  ...I like Brenda.

Louis Walsh:  (Hesitating slightly) ...No.

Sharon Osbourne:  Oh you miserable old...! (Louis sniggers)

Simon Cowell:  The outfit put me off. (Brenda looks down and rubs her thighs)

Sharon Osbourne:  Oh... Simon, stop. (Louis laughs)

Simon Cowell:  Brenda, I'm going to have to agree... with... (Brenda is looking anxious) ...Sharon. You're through to the...

Brenda:  (Excited) Ahh! Ha!!!!

She waves her arms about, runs and dives across the judges' table to give them all a kiss. Brenda joyfully runs out of the room and into the arms of Kate.

Brenda:  (Hugging and rocking Kate) Oh my god! Ohhh! (She runs along the corridors to hug husband Patrick in the holding area)
