Addictiv Ladies Put A Spell On Louis and Sharon

Addictiv Ladies
Song: Missing You (Original)

Addictive Ladies Stephanie Yamson (left) and Vivienne Umeh (right).

'Addictiv Ladies' are Stephanie Yamson, Vivienne Umeh (pictued above)  plus Nicola Owusu-Akontoh and Fleur East (pictured below), all just 17 years old and hailing from Walthamstow. The 4 girls have been best friends since their nursery days.

They strut into the audition room and really grab the panel's attention by spelling their signature in pleasing 4 part harmony. The girls really look the part; young, vivacious, bubbly and cute.

They confidently launch into their home-written auidition piece 'Missing You', but their tuning lets them down badly. One can sense they have the vocal talent, but nerves seem to be getting the better of them.

Simon says 'No', but happily for the ladies their strong first impression still counts with Louis and Sharon. They may not be totally addicted yet, but they see great potential in the vocal group and seem to believe that with a little fine tuning 'Addictiv Ladies' may well put East 17 back on the musical map!

Panel-Bites:

Kate Thornton:  (Pre-audition) How are you feeling about going to meet the judges today?

Nicola:  Excited.

Fleur:  Really, really excited.

Nicola:  Really excited... but like nervous, but at the same time... yeah... nervous and excitement.

Addictiv Ladies enter the audition room singing in 4 part harmony...

"Bringing you the, bringing you the, bringing you the,
bringing you the A-D-D I-C-T I-V - ADDICTIV ,
Don't you know who we be?
Makin' our dreams a reality.
Bringin' you a flavour you ain't never seen!"

Simon Cowell:  Now that is an entrance!

Sharon Osbourne:  All right ladies!

Simon Cowell:  That is an entrance. We liked that.

Sharon Osbourne:  How are you?

Addictiv Ladies:  Fine thank you.

Sharon Osbourne:  All right, you are 'Addictiv Ladies'?

Addictiv Ladies:  We are ( Stephanie and Nicola gvie the thumbs up)

Sharon Osbourne:  Fabulous!

Addictiv Ladies:  Thank you.

Sharon Osbourne:  How long have you been together?

Nicola:  Well we've been friends from very young.

Vivienne:  And that's a true story.

Sharon Osbourne:  All right, what you gonna sing?

Nicola:  Erm, a song we wrote ourselves called 'Missing You'.

Sharon Osbourne:  Okay.

Addictiv Ladies sing...

Simon Cowell:  Girls, girls. We've got some real vocal problems here. Really disappointed, 'cause I loved you when you came in.

Nicola:  But if you work on us we'll be fine. We'll be brilliant!

Sharon Osbourne:  I have to say for me, I love you.

Stephanie:  Please we'll work as hard as you want us to.

Vivienne:  We can improve... and we can sing.

Simon Cowell:  (To Sharon and Louis) What could you do with these girls?

Sharon Osbourne:  Give them singing lessons... constantly.

Simon Cowell:  Give them singing lessons.

Sharon Osbourne:  I really like you and I'm going to put you through.

Nicola:  Please you can train us and we'll do it all.

Sharon Osbourne:  I've said 'Yes' Mrs... I've said 'Yes'!

Nicola:  Thank you! Sharon we love you!

Simon Cowell:  It's a 'No'. It's a 'No'!

Nicola:  (To Louis) We're begging you so much.

Stephanie:  We've being doing it since young and we're 17!

Louis Walsh:  Okay!

Addictiv Ladies get excited - Stephanie and Nicola surge forward...

Nicola:  Thank you, we thank you so much.

Louis Walsh:  I am going to agree with...

Nicola:  Please, please, we're begging you so much. Please.

Louis Walsh:  Sharon. You're through.

Backstage Simon talks to Louis and Sharon...

Simon Cowell:  'Addictiv Ladies' as a point...

Sharon Osbourne:  Cute, cute, cute. Great...

Louis Walsh:  Potential.

Sharon Osbourne:  They've got...

Simon Cowell:  Couldn't sing a note in tune.

Sharon Osbourne:  ...But they've got the bare bones to work from. They've got...

Louis Walsh:  They have.

Sharon Osbourne:  ...the personality, the looks, the enthusiasm.

Louis Walsh:  Simon, we're going to find out in Boot Camp... and see do they improve... they have to improve.
