Voices With Soul are very happy with their song choice for tonight, 'Lord Jam' as they call it. That's 'Lady Marmalade' to me and you.

Before they appear on stage we get a little look at how this week has been treating them.

Corene, Grace and Hildia (that's daughter, mummy and auntie) were feeling a little dejected earlier on in the week after finding themselves in the bottom two for the second time on Saturday. Hildia tells Louis "We just want to do our best and we don't want to let you down again."

Simon and Sharon referred to a few 'tuning problems' last week, so Dave Laudat has been focussing on that area during his sessions with the girls. They have fun singing "I don't hear no tuning problems. I don't hear no tuning problems" and Grace really funks it up with a few of her 'street' moves!

Hildia speaks of the their hopes to "live the dream" and it's clear how much those words mean to these ladies when she finds herself unable to hold back the tears, "we want the dream to come true" she says.

They give a blistering performance that takes the auditorium by storm. The girls are looking good and sounding good!

Hildia really impresses with her intensity on the lead vocal. She holds the centre stage while Grace and Corene strut into the audience and make a bee-line for Simon Cowell. They surprise him with a two pronged attack and plant glossy lip-smackers on both his cheeks!

He seems to like it but will their cheeky gambit pay off when it comes to judgement time? ...

Kate: Okay, Voices With Soul it's time for the judges verdict... They really will do anything to get good comments. Look at you! (Simon - he's got big lipstick marks on both cheeks) Simon!

Simon: (smiling) I wasn't expecting that! Have I got make-... ? (points to his cheek)

Kate: Yes!

Simon: Yea...okay! Erm... (laughter) Louis, bearing in mind you look like Mr Pink out of Resevoir Dogs tonight (laughter...including Louis') Erm...

Kate: Simon your thoughts on the performance please...

Simon: I don't really know what to say actually... covered in lipstick... Erm, it was a lot better than last week I've gotta tell you that. (cheers) A lot better... ahm...what I want to know is what happened to the 'couchez'?

Hildia: Erm, we changed it from couchez because we didn't want to sing 'sleep with me', we changed it to...ahm... 'sing with me', but if we knew the word, the french word for 'vote for me' we would have sang that! (laughter and cheers)

Simon: But why didn't you sing 'sleep with me'?

Hildia: 'Cause we didn't feel comfortable.

Simon: Why?

Hildia: Because... you weren't in front of us. (laughter)

Simon: (nods) Yea, right!

Kate: So you liked... Simon, you liked the performance tonight?

Simon: I think the girls are fantastic! Yeah, I've got to tell you great!

Kate: (cheers) Thank you very much! Sharon?... Sharon?

Sharon: Just... one of the things I love so much about this show is to see how all these artists grow each week. And you just get better and better... Best performance I think that I've seen on this show by anyone. Fantastic performance!

Kate: Thank you Sharon. Louis! Does this mean that the girls won't be singing again tonight?

Louis: I hope everybody votes for them. Look at them, y'know, you've got 3 great divas... you've got 2 divas down there (the panel)... the place is full of divas!

Kate: Now listen, we've seen you're prepared to do anything to get on the right side of these guys. Got a message for the people at home that want to pick up the phone and vote for you tonight?

Hildia: We just want everyone just to vote for us. If you thought we were fantastic, vote. And can I just say, I just want a big 'up' for Faye (Grace and Corene join in, shouting Faye's name) ... for styling us. We love you Faye, we love you! (Corene does a twirl, Faye, in the audience, gives the girls a big thumbs up!)
