It makes quite a spectacle which combined with Tabby’s raw rock vocals, transports the viewer in a time capsule on a journey back to Ozzy’s old school of rock.
In true rock and roll style Tabby enjoys the moment, works the crowd and soaks in all the applause.
So, will he enjoy letting the judges’ comments soak in? ...
Kate: It’s Tabbyyyyy! Well done! Now before we start Mrs O? Those scarves anything to do with you? (Laughs)
Sharon: (displays her palms and protests in mock innocence) Me?
Kate: Nice touch. I like it!
Sharon: Thank you.
Kate: That’s marketing.
Sharon: Thank you (curtseys).
Tabby: I don’t know anything about it. I’ve never seen them before.
Kate: No, but they look good don’t they.
Tabby: (laughs) They do ya!
Kate: And in the Irish colours... Simon!
Simon: Errr, this is going to hurt me, because Sharon, you have done something incredible with this guy. (cheers from the audience and a big smile from Tabby) I’ve got to tell you this was a risk, and you know what sitting here, believe it or not, the one thing I pray is that you are going to find a star for a competition and I think we’ve found one. That was just immaculate. (more cheers)
Kate: Well done!
(Sharon jigs on the spot and gives Tabby a happy hug)
Tabby: Thank you Simon...
Kate: Praise indeed from Simon Cowell. Louis Walsh!
Louis: Kate I loved it. I mean...I mean Tabby rocks, he really, really rocks and he’s like... he’s like a breath of fresh air to see on a show like this. He’s fantast... and Sharon’s done an amazing job with him...its just...its wonderful! Love it!
Tabby: (thumbs up) Thank you very much!
Sharon: Thank you Simon! (prompts Tabby) And Simon?
Tabby: Thank you Simon!
Kate: Sharon, he’s you’re secret weapon and he hit the target tonight didn’t he?
Sharon: Feud’s over guys...okay. Luv ya!! (whoops of disbelief from the audience. Louis smiles, Simon smiles!)
Simon: That can all change Sharon!
Sharon: Huh?
Simon: (with a laugh in his voice) That can all change.
Kate: Now Tabby, you’ve spent the last...goodness knows how many years fronting bands. You’re here as a solo artist now. Are you feeling like you belong?
Tabby: (shaking his head a bit) Yeah, you know something, like I’ve spent the last couple of years playing in bands and stuff...and erm, y’know what...to tell ye...y’know it’s a new challenge like an’ I never knock something until I try it. I’m having a great time to be honest with ya! Y’know.
Kate: Good! Well we’re enjoying you too! Ladies and gentlemen lets say thank you to Sharon and Tabby. Well done guys!
